Chappellet
Elements of licorice, cedar and smoke mingle with the fruit, creating a synergy of enticing aromas. Concentrated flavors of sun-soaked red and black fruit, cola and roasted coffee envelop the palate and flow through the finish. This is a wine of monumental size and concentration worthy of patient cellaring.
Wine Spectator
Rough-hewn, dense, abundant and chewy, with concentrated, extracted dried currant, mineral and hefty oak and mineral flavors that make this broad-shouldered, framed by potent tannins. Needs lots of time. Best from 2009 through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

For older wine vintages, we make every effort to ensure that the wines are in top condition. It is Moe's Fine Wines' policy as well as the industry standard, that wines that are five years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.
