The 2004 Ines (named for another daughter) is also produced from a single vineyard and, again, there are only 20 cases for the American market. Purple-colored and with a super-expressive bouquet, this wine exhibits aromas and flavors of vanilla, smoke, scorched earth, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. Sumptuously rich in the mouth with remarkable extraction, this large-scaled wine seems almost elegant with its ripe tannins and silky, fruity finish. Like its sister wine, it can be enjoyed now or stashed away in the cellar for 6-8 years. It should provide pleasure through 2020.
