Domaines Ott

The 2009 Château Romassan rosé has a pale salmon pink color. At first there are aromas of stone fruit, particularly peach, that quickly tend towards red fruit and white flowers, with a trace of sweet spices such as cinnamon. The attack on the palate is silky, evolving rapidly towards a rich and solid structure. The wine is very generous, lingering on notes of stone fruit, followed by a vinous finish with spicy dominance.

Wine Enthusiast

As befits a Bandol, this rosé has a good depth of flavor, rich and smoothly textured with acidity integrated into a serious and complex wine. The structure and acidity suggest a wine that could age for 2–3 years.

Score: 91. —Roger Voss, September 01, 2010.

Wine Spectator

This intense rosé offers dried berry and peach flavors that are filled with ginger and cream notes. Features powerful mineral and pepper elements on the finish. Drink now. 3,000 cases imported.

Score: 89. —Kim Marcus, June 30, 2010.

For older wine vintages, we make every effort to ensure that the wines are in top condition. It is Moe's Fine Wines' policy as well as the industry standard, that wines that are five years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.
